Storyline:
Anupamaa helps her family and gives up her own dreams, but feels sad when no one notices all the hard work she does. Then she chose to live the life she wanted.
Yashpal’s mother tells him that the tea is really good and if he serves it to people, they will love it. She says she was really angry when she came here, but her mood changed after drinking tea. She says your name might be Anupama and she will call you Ann. Anupama feels moved by what she said. Yashpal’s mother gives some money to Anupama and asks her to take it. Anupama says no. His mother asks Anupama to get it. Yashpal asks his grandma to come because we need to leave soon. She says she wants to go. He asked Anupama to close the door properly from the inside and clean the place. Anupama thinks she is getting better at things like dancing and cooking, and she thinks she might like living in America. Later, she thanked God for saving her from Yashpal’s anger.
Otherwise, she would be homeless or in jail. She prays to God for Toshu-Kinjal and hopes that they will come to meet her, even though they live in the same country. She then asks for Pakhi and Choti. She says goodnight to dad and goes to bed. She keeps thinking about Aadhya and wonders why she feels connected to her.
Shruti wants to know if you want to be my friend and says we have some things in common, and we could enjoy this moment together. She takes a picture of herself with her friend and asks for her phone number. Anupama gives her Vikram’s phone number. Shruti answers Anuj’s call and tells him that she will meet her life partner soon.
Vikram tells Yashpal that they will have more customers to serve food to, so they need more people to help. Yashpal tells Anupama and Vikram to make food fast. Anupama quickly feeds amazing Yashpal. Shruti calls Anupama and asks if she can come to her house to cook Indian food for her daughter Aadhya’s birthday party.
